    I-65 has it's bad days, but several times I've had the traffic apps suggest taking 840 to I-65 from Milton to get to Nashville...o_O

    We should really get some sort of Nashville Tacoma/Toyota meet together. I came from the Subaru world and we used to have little meets like once a month or so and it was always a blast. Was great for building the community, making friends, talking mods and all that good stuff.

    No one else calls interstates "the" followed by a number. My wife's family is in California and she grew up in Santa Barbara. I still give her a hard time about it.

    Not to highjack the thread but: Ha! Guilty as charged. Born in San Diego and grew up in Dana Point. My wife is from Pomona. We both say it the same way and also refer to it as “The freeway”. Been here over 10 years and we still get funny looks from people. Except for the humidity I love everything about it here.

    With the traffic getting as bad as it is, it wouldn't be surprising if we starting using "the" highway number after a while. It seems like Californians use "the" as a sign of both respect and fear.
