Anyone know of a good spot in Nashville to Order/Install an Eibach Pro-Truck kit and order some tires/swap tpms out of my stock wheels and throw them in my SCS ones when mounti? I was gonna order the kit and tires separately and do it the kit install my self, but dont really have the tools or time at the moment to do so. Figured i might get a better deal altogether. I tried Brian’s Motorsports in Hville first based off previous reviews in here and It may just be me but it was..... a very interesting experience to say the least.

Kirk at Mid Tenn Tire in Hendersonville is a lifted Toyota guy himself, and does a good job. Many of us have taken parts to him, or had him do our alignments to get it right.

Look up freedom tire guys on IG and give them a call. They started out with just mobile tire installs but I’m pretty sure he has a brick and mortar shop now too and does lift kits and shit

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
Seen this truck at breakfast. I’m interested in finding out how he got a big lift and kept his tie rods and half shafts straight.

Any 6” lift or larger will be a drop bracket lift. It’s not worth it, it screws your ground clearance for no more gain in tire size over a 3” lift. Unless you’re 2wd, in which case you should use lift spindles.

I could see that actual clearance wasn’t anymore than what I already have and the rear was a block lift.
The straight tie rods and half shafts got my attention though.
    Thanks for the info.
I found the rough country setup that he has.

Hey man. I'm offering a beast version of the OVtune in the middle-TN area (willing to meet halfway if you're in West TN) me and my buddy call the TKO. It's a performance tune for the 3rd gen Taco's. Crazy performance power gains and drivability. PM if you're interested and I'll share all the details.

Anyone know a good place to get a cab mount chop? 4 Wheel Parts quoted me $700 for a CMC and alignment which seemed like it may have been excessive.

How much of that was the alignment?

They did my CMC. They originally quoted it in the $400 range, but I got them to bump it down. I want to say it was $250, but it may have been $300, I don’t really remember. Still felt high, and they didn’t hammer the pinch weld.

They did include the plates, though, and the actual CMC was done well. They said they do so many that they just cut their own plates.

That is beyond excessive. A local quality 4x4 shop quoted me $300 to do the cmc and that was the highest quote, others offered to do between $200-$250. My alignment cost $95 and I thought that was a bit steep!

Edit: sorry I just saw this is a Nashville thread, but still, don’t get ripped off. That price seems very high!

Haha you're all good. I do appreciate the info though so I can either try to work them down in price like @zachandblue did or just find a new shop entirely to do the work.

If you know anyone that welds, you could probably save a bunch of money by cutting it yourself (see YouTube), buying the plates, and then having the plates welded on.
