Hey fellas, I relocated to Nashville from SoCal, don't know anyone or my way around

Been out here about a year and I just installed a Tom Woods one-piece driveshaft and it's rubbing under load

I'm driving a 2010 DCSB and I'm my second suspension (OEM 4leaf & Billsteins), but it's gotten tired

I've put off lifting the truck for over a decade, there was always an expense or distraction, but it's time to get her up off the ground now ... I've got some long distance work and there's going to be a payload in the bed, so up she goes

Can anyone recommend a quality shop for a Cab Mount Relocation?

I stopped in at a couple of local places and made some calls, they said they could handle a CMC but none had done a relocation

The plan is for a DRT Fabrication Cab Mount Relocation & Pinch Weld Mod
    https://www.drt-fabrication.com/product/cab-mount-relocation

I read as much of this thread as possible and saw some recommendations for Mill Creek Automotive and Blue Truck for installs, does anyone have any experience with them for fabrication and welding? And are there any other options?

I would really appreciate any feedback, direction and experience you can offer, like I said, I don't know anyone so I'm totally flying blind here ... the only two places I was able to track down offered an expensive Cab Mount Chop and wanted to sell me Rough Country lifts and that's not the direction I want to go

I haven't decided yet if I'll do the lift install myself or have a shop do it, as for the Cab Mount Relocation, I can cut, but I can't weld, so I need to find a shop

    Thanks

Shoot me a message on what all you want done. I do installs and CMC’s fairly often as side work. I’ve done a few relocations as well.

Very late in responding.... Had some ancillary issues. ...*Not* Mill Creek's fault. I had them install a carrier bearing lowering kit, thinking it would help keep the drive shaft happy. That caused some vibration in certain RPM ranges. Because I travel for a living, was a couple of months until they could shim my differential to rid the thing of vibes. Everything is great now. They did a great job. You will have to make an appointment in advance. They are busy. Anything that takes most of a day's work, plan three weeks out. That said, they never let the work leave their shop, until it's right, unless waiting on a part.

Overall, I'm pleased, and will be bringing them work in the future. Result photo attached. Rides better than expected... Hope that helps...IMG_20220913_162020.jpg

I think I’ve seen the same one here in town. I’m over near Beachhaven winery.

Welcome to the area! What part of SoCal you from? We moved to Clarksville from Oceanside over 14 years ago.

It's kinda out of the way for you, but I'd recommend Mill Creek. They're no stranger to fab work. ...Some I've seen is pretty involved. I'm sure they could do a good job for you.

With this crazy weather today, how's everyone doing out there? Clarksville roads are still pretty slick with very low temps. Lots of folks without power up here.

I live off Dunlop and we’ve had power all day. But, our shower froze. No busted pipes thankfully. Just dropped my wife off at the Publix on Hwy 76 and it’s kinda slick out there. Stay safe everyone!

Y’all know of anybody around Nashville that does Fox rebuilds? My pro shocks are about ready to be serviced and it’d be awesome if I could find someone local with a quick turnaround :)

Nope, got too busy and haven't hunted around too much. Just gathering potential options I can call through when time allows. I'll need them rebuilt sometime this summer most likely. but if I had an easy-button where I could just drop my truck off and get my shocks rebuilt within a day or 2 for a reasonable price, I'd drive off happy. I've just gotten so busy I don't have time to wrench like I used to

Hello. Hope yall are doing good today-

Does anyone in the Nashville area have a stock front driver's side strut laying around they want to get rid off?

I was in an accident in my 2nd gen and mine broke in half and I am trying to get the truck in the shop to begin a build.

So if anyone has a 2nd or 3rd gen strut and spring combo they can get rid off please PM me-
    Thanks, W:ll:s

I have some TRD Pro struts that I can sell you, or can loan you with collateral.
