I reached out to mill creek overland about a month ago about a few things and their response was basically “wow that’s a lot of questions” never heard back after my reply so I’ll keep looking

I’ve heard good things about Music City 4x4 and Total Offroad. Might give them a shot.

Check with @Kerleyfries, he might be able to help you out. He's not a commercial fab shop but he has some skill with a welder.

No tube bender. Custom rock sliders is honestly going to be more trouble than it’s worth.

@JuiceBox1855 what are you looking for that’s driving you to go custom vs. something off the shelf?

I want something more tucked than 0° but still have surface area to be used as a step for my wife. This may exist off the shelf so open to suggestions

Hey Nashville people. I’ve posted a couple times here but haven’t really made any friends or connections. I’m planning to finally start modding my truck and will probably start with a lift. I’ve never done any suspension work but I’ve watched enough YouTube to be as much of an expert as I can but if any friendly folks in the area would want to make a friend and offer some guidance when the time comes I’ll supply you as much beer and food to go on your grill as you’d like. Me and my wife live in an apartment complex so not too sure how easy it be install coilovers and a leaf pack in the parking lot with a scissor Jack and Jack stands so I’d appreciate some help and a new Toyota friend

Most apartment complexes won't allow you to work on your vehicles in the parking lots, so you might want to check the rules at yours. I live an hour outside of Nashville, but I've had several people come out here in the past to install lifts. I've never done a 3rd Gen, but I don't think there is much difference in the suspension setup. If you need some assistance or advice on what to get, I'll be glad to help if I can.

I have a 2nd gen 2015. Even if I could get away with it I think it would be less than ideal with only a scissor Jack in a busy parking lot. I’d definitely appreciate some wisdom and advice. Mostly worried about pinion angles and vibrations after the fact

I run a 3° shim under my leafpack to get rid of the driveline vibrations. How much of a degree shim you need or if you need anything at all largely depends on how much you lift the truck. I lifted mine 3" and definitely needed the shims. However, when I first did the lift I did the shim but also put a drop spacer in the carrier bearing mount. I still had some vibration so I removed the pinion bearing spacer and it fixed my vibration issue. I don't recommend my initial approach, do one or the other but not both to start out. Should you have any vibration issues there is a good thread on here to help solve them.

Should plan a meet and greet have a few beverages of choice and hear each other's plan's. I will be doing my 3rd gen lift in my driveway and will have my alignment scheduled also.

That'd be a great idea, it's been a long time since we had a meet-n-greet for the Nashville area.

@Hutch98 @JuiceBox1855 I don't know how much either of you plan to put into your trucks, but if you have some extra coin to spend on some nice used suspension parts for your truck, Gideon just posted these on the main TN thread. They are top of the line parts, way better than Bilstein.

The Score Board has plenty of parking and plenty of beverage/food options. I'm in south Nashville Murfreesboro pike.
