Grille fell off at a stop light a couple weeks ago..

My friend's dad just bought a new grille for his double cab so I bought his old one off of him. Same color and with a emblem!

And new wheels and tires for pos LS400

Nothing new other than the Lexus being lower than before and I might be lowering the Tacoma soon..

Probably going to take the 18" Acura wheels off the Lexus and put them on Tacoma

How much did this all cost, and where did you relocate the A/C controls to?

It would be very expensive to replicate this truck. My brother built it as demo vehicle for their shop. The door panels alone would cost around 8 grand to do if remember correctly.

A/C controls were relocated in the custom headliner

That's almost what my truck is worth! KBB value is currently about $9,900!

The part I want to do is the bucket seats, and money is not an issue. My truck is a 2010 so it has the side airbags...

How much did those General Grabbers cost for a set?

My truck does not look much different than your truck in terms of basic outward appearance...

How many watts? I once saw (and listened to) a 2010 Tundra with a 3,500-watt Sundown Audio system in it...

Yeah, that's just the panels not including equipment and everything else.

Start junk yard shopping. My seats were pulled out of wrecked 2010 double cab

Grabbers are cool looking but I'm not happy with them. I wouldn't recommend them. My next tires will be Toyo Open Country AT2

5,100 RMS but running 4,500 watts if I remember correctly. I have 3 huge batteries and a 270 amp alternator just power everything. I want to get my truck weighed, I'm sure there's almost 1,000 pounds of extra weight in my poor little truck

I'm getting an external amplifier to make my component speakers sound better. I'm also going to get a powered subwoofer at some point this year.

Would you say that your truck is suitable as a daily driver the way it is now? Can you recline the seats?

    Nice!

I haven't driven my truck since December, so not a suitable daily driver right now:rofl: I can't recline the seats at all and be comfortable. I'm 6' tall so I need the seat all the way back so no room to recline. I'm used to it now. When it's running I love to drive it everyday.

I'm having alternator issues and no time to fix it.

It's definitely nicer to drive my Lexus which is even lower now

Does having the LS that low still allow you to have all the A/C stuff in place under the hood?

Has anything you've done to your Taco affected it's ability to pass smog testing?

Yeah, I haven't relocated anything on that car. Once I move next month I'll no longer be on a dirt road so I'm going to lower it 1/2" up front 3/4" in the rear. That'll put the car about a 1/2" off the ground.

No, engine modifications other than the alternator. I just had my truck smogged in November with no issues

What year is it your Lexus?

A friend of mine's ex-boyfriend obtained a 1992 Lexus LS400 with like 106K original miles from an estate sale, in mint condition, for only $1,500!

1990 with 198K. I bought mine form one of our auctions for $500

That's awesome, and a good price. I've seen some rough ones that sell for that
