Thanks man! One day at a time in the right direction.

The frame is safe! Repairs have started and the body shop guy said to thank my Demello sliders. However the rear axle is now in question. We'll see how that goes now.

Hey man, I love your Taco. I hope one day mine turns out as sweet as yours. However, I first need to do the front end conversion! Is there any way you can send me all the parts numbers needed to do it? All OEM. I know it's kinda a lot to ask for but I'd really appreciate it! I know other people have done the conversion as well but I can't seem to find a thread where all the OEM parts are listed. Thank you!!

^ Front end conversion should be real easy nowadays. There is a D.I.Y parts list someone created and I'll try to dig it up for you.

    You'll need the following.

    1. Hood
    2. Grill
    3. Headlights
    4. Bumper
    5. Plastic Fender Well
    6. Bumper Support Bracket
    7. Hood Latch
    8. Plastic headlight filler

Just picked up my truck this Friday and man, it's nice to see it again. Just waiting on the aftermarket parts that are on order. 4-6 weeks out before I obtain them. It's been a nightmare with insurance as they tried to deny my parts that I'm obligated to receive. It kinda blew that my own insurance was giving me a hard time when it was deemed the other parties fault.

I got the truck back and it's a gem to just keep it now. I absolutely love my truck and I've been test driving other vehicles while I was waiting to hear back if it was going to be totaled or not. Glad I took it to my shop who did all the repairs exactly how I wanted it. Glad I didn't have to pick up a 3rd gen as that was my choice. I had decided to buy a Quicksand 4x4 Doublecab SR5 and completely build it. I always told myself I'd never buy a TRD again as I just ripped mine apart anyways.

I have some new parts waiting to install onto my truck now and can't wait to take my planned trip in it soon. =)

    Mods Coming Soon

    1. Interior Revamp
    2. Total Chaos OEM Heim Upper UCA
    3. Build the Rear End. Weakest Point of my Truck
    4. Rear Bumper

Me too. . . My back is killing me and it's the absolute worse kind of injury. If you've never had this injury and just heard people complaint. . . I don't wish it upon you to find out.

Truck is good! I honestly wanted to keep my truck and not have to buy a new one. I like the 3rd gens but I can't justify the inflated price on one of those things. When the price increased that much, there are other vehicles worthy of being added to the decision.

Love the 4Runner and I believe I'll be picking one up regardless soon for my girl. I get to keep my truck and she'll have the 4runner. We share the mpg gas saving Honda as well. . . Win.

^Least it's just the bypass. My rear was out due to my accident and much needed. It drove like utter sh#t before he blessed it.

BTW. I got my 2012+ Steering wheel and interior now. . . Need to find time to install that now. Just missing the black carpet and I'll be set. Don't think I care too much for it in all honesty.

When we meeting up for lunch?
