When your paint does this, you know you own a Toyota! This is what happens when you park outside and the reflections of the side mirrors screw up this sh*tty white paint. I’ll bet I’ve rubbed these out a half dozen times already and they just keep coming back, especially if I don’t keep my mirrors folded in… but that just puts the spots in a different spot.

It doesn’t get much more crappy that this! This isn’t even to mention all the places that have peeled and are about to peel! Toyota should be ashamed of themselves for rear ending us Tacoma owners!

It isn't just Toyota. Toyota doesn't make paint, they buy it from the same paint manufacturers that make paint for everyone else. Lots of peeling white paint on a lot of vehicles.

Those spots look an awful lot like repairs. It's important to note that the paint on a small percentage of new vehicles is either repaired at the factory due to problems with the original painting process or repaired at the dealership due to damage during shipping. And your dealer is not going to mention this.

I hear what you’re saying, but the spots show in different areas based on whether I fold in the mirrors or not. One of my other white Tacomas did the exact same thing! I can rub these out and polish, but eventually they show up again.
