I'm not too worried about security, I don't see every person being away from the site for an extended period of time. I know my xrunner isn't going on any trails (if I can even make it to the campsite itself), so I will most likely be at the site for the day just bsing with whoever is around.

Honestly, I am really looking forward to see some of these trucks in person. After looking through the pics, is it safe to assume some of the more "seriously modded" tacomas are not daily drivers? I could never see myself in a car again...sh*t, the 2 days I had to drive a corolla when my transmission was being replaced I wanted to kill myself.

They are all daily driver. I know mine is for sure and most of everyone else is also. Looks like you will be upgrading to a real truck after this weekend :)

lol don't tempt me. I purchased an entire dash replacement a few months ago; so a "hot swap" of my current setup should not take more than a weekend. I don't look forward to building some sort of suspension for the computer itself in a real truck however, lol. The memory foam pillow I use now works great when I hit my bump stops, but any legit bump I would take in a real truck...Windows does not enjoy much.

Then again...I might roll over 100k this weekend...a new truck sounds like a good excuse to not replace my timing belt...and of course, break-in during my drive to Lake Placid in March.

that would be correct. i just hope that everyone who says they are coming, actually show up, so i'm not out the money.......the $8 per person is based on the amount of people on the list, and the amount of sites required.

There are no security issues at this campground. the campers, that got broken into, were at the hunt camp where they leave their stuff up there all week with no-one around.

if your not going to drive your truck, you can ride in the back of mine.

Haha, I had to wipe them and my headlights off so I could drive home because I couldn't see shit. Best part about that, I got to get it that dirty at work, literally paid hundreds of dollars that day just to drive through mud holes and pipeline corridors :D

Just picked up some tiki torch fluid, propane, water, etc. Anyone ever use one of the small catalytic coleman heaters? 1500 btu didn't seem like it would do much.

Anywhere close to throw a line in the water, worth bringing a pole?

I'm halfway ready and fully stoked!
