    No thank you. At the request of some friends I test drove a Ranger. I knew I wanted a 4-banger which you can't get with a 4x4. The 4-banger 4x2 couldn't get out of it's own way and it felt like you were driving a tank with no visibility.

    My Pops just bought a 2011 Ranger and the guy at the dealership said that's what was coming in to replace it.

    I have done all the hi-pro mods for a life time, since I got this truck at a great price, I will be happy with showroom new.
    no, ford is not taking any chances right now with the f150. its their bread and butter. One of the reasons, and there are many, but one reason that they have a smaller truck, for the rest of the world, and with diesels, they do cost more to make, and delv. most countries around the world have some form of displace tax on the cubic inch of the engine. a few years ago china adopted the Japanese tax, and it caused a stir, but anything over 3.0 has a muther&%$@#$ of a tax on it.
