BBC FTW! I forced myself to watch the better part of an episode of the history channel, but good lord, I had to drink a 6 pack just to bear it. They need to change the name so as to not tarnish the BBC Top Gear.

USA is growing on me, still very dull but will still watch it. Jeremy Clarkson alone makes the UK's better...

I think Top Gear blows!!!!!!!!!!!!! so lame and cheesy. unreal situations and just bad show concepts.
I never seen the UK version so i don't know what the show is supposed to be about originally but this History Channel one just sucks. Their car reviews are just horrible as they race it in unreal situations yet the review is met for the average joe. makes no sense.

I actually thought this show was going to be like Spike TV's Power Hour - Trucks, Extreme 4x4, etc. Where's Stacey David, that guy knew cars, trucks and new how to build them.

    too damn many
tanner foust is a little tool, rutledge is a badass and adam is entertaining atleast, give it a season or two these guys need to discover themselves on tv. its obvious none of them are used to it yet and the budget is a draw back but its nice to see cars that we could actually own on top gear, im so used to the bbc top gear testing out of this world cars (not complaining just saying lol) i think top gear america has potential, the show where they tested moonshine runners vehicles and adam jumped a caddy was awesome and if they could get that chemistry down right it could be as great as bbc's gotta remember the brits have a 15 season jump on us.

Well I suggest you just watch one episode of the UK version. This isn't meant to be like Spike TV's power hour. It's not about teaching you how to build anything. The UK version is much better but still not what you are looking for.

I havent seen that episode yet, and have to say, that was probably THE best job they have done on reporting on anything yet. It was a TOTAL rip from the UK book though, but even more bonerific than the UK one. That, I must say, was very impressive

The first one I saw was pretty gay, a helicopter 'hunting' 2 dudes in a bright red viper in town of 200 people and all of 3 buildings?
    No thanks,
The UK version kills it, long live the curly-headed-old-bitter-brit version.

I have seen both versions the program ... like the version in the UK the best ... but the US version is OK.
