ill be watching the new season. ive watched most of the episodes of the 1st season, i want to be able to accurately bash this crappy version of top gear.

i hope the fat guy dies this season or something. that would help alot.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Tanner Foust is OK. I feel his pain (and body language) having to work with these other two complete buffoons.

US Top Gear is RUBBISH. It's more exciting watching a dog poop.

Poor Tanner; hang in there Buddy maybe the other two will get killed in car wrecks this season and liven it up a little.

two things to mention: I think US top Gear tried to mimic the UK top gear to closely: A show so perfect will make any imitators, no matter how good, look lame for even trying. Second of all, the first season of Top Gear UK wasn't all that great, they even had some weirdo other dude that James eventually replaced. I'm glad History Channel is giving it another shot; shows these days don't get a chance to get into their groove before they are mercilessly ripped from the schedule.

yeah the fat guy right? see they got rid of him, and the second season was seriously 10x better than the first. so get rid of the fat guy on the american one.

tanner is aight. i did't really like him that much as a driver, but he does good on the show and he isn't as much of a douche as i thought he would be.

the thing about American Top Gear is that it seems way to scripted, and the three hosts don't have that great chemistry.

I watched last night and just didnt think it was funny. Maybe i have to high a standard for the show, but it was like "it was just something on" last night. Next weeks looks like it might be. I think its also due to that I cant take any of them serious. Rutledge and Adam are both "comedians" and they are funny in other things they do, and Tanner, can drive the hell out of a vehicle, doesnt have that presenter dominour to me. I wonder if the German and Aussie versions were talked about like this as well?

Anyone checked out "The Car Show" with Adam Corolla on Speed? It's a similar premise (OK, identical premise), but seems more natural.

Could Adam Ferrara read off those queue cards a little more? When they do anything with him the momentum of the show start to come to a screeching halt. At least the other 2 know something about cars.

I had VERY high hopes for "The Car Show"

Oh Man, I'm sorry to say it was rubbish.

Very disappointing I thought for SURE Adam Corolla would be a RIP but he's a snore. So sad.

Really? I like The Car Show more than Top Gear. It seems more natural, although the Top Gear guys do seem to have more fun.

I do like Adam Ferara, because he knows nothing and just hammers everything. He's pretty funny too.

    Watching last nights TG now.

I like how they just happened to have "props" to get the trucks across pavement and he had a sawsall to cut the roof off the bronco and no one heard all that noise

So, are they going to ever test any newer cars or do reviews or are they turning it into a challenge show?
