    I have been thinking about putting some on the same place, or the front fenders, or on the side rear windows. Not a whole lot of places you can put them with the FJ, cuz of curves and what not

    Not hatin' brotha! I like it and want to put it on the Runner. That's why I asked how did you decide to place it where you did?

    I like the place it's at kinda seems factory. The curves are there on the Runner too.

    It's looking good jonny! What size tires/wheels are those? How much lift? I wanna put 285's on but afraid of rubbing without a lift.

    3" front, 1.5 rear. 285's will not rub at all. uca,body mount, fenders...nothing with the clearance i have:p
    was going to go with 35's but didnt want to deal with hacking my mounts and shittier gas mileage :cool:
    let me know if/when you do!
    i am pretty sure there are a few fj's w no lift and 285's on the fj forum.

    Yeah that's the downside for you guys. With me I got the V8 so I wouldn't need to worry about AS much. No prius!

    I decided to go 255/80/17 bfg km2's.

    Nope. I actually have Seth's old pro comp rims, and toyo open country A/T's on it now that he got when he bought his FJ. I'll be keeping these rims, and getting the new tires. My stock rims were 18's.
