can't tell if you are fcking with me or not :p
put your key in the hole (back door) turn it right & hold for a couple seconds. should hear the rear window pop open. I also drilled a small hole on the rear plastic to open the window from the inside

I am thinking about doing the same thing since i plan on getting an ARB bullbar in the near future.
I've spoken with Marco at DSM and plan to go with a 14" KING coil on my ICON's. Can't decide whether to go with a 650Lb. or 700Lb though. how did you make the decision on the 700Lb?

Sick FJ! I really like that dark green with the black rims...gives it a military vibe.

    Hey Gabe
I have 2.0 coilovers...IIRC you have 2.5's..probably stronger than mine. I am also going with the king 700# springs from Marco. He told me they are 2" longer than my current coils so I won't have to compress the spring/crank up the coilover lock nuts as much since they are longer and have a stiffer spring.
My current springs (AP/fox 2.0's have 650# springs) and my coilovers are cranked up pretty high due to the heavy weight of my 1st generation 1 pc AP bumper + winch

    Thanks Andrew

oh i didn't even notice you had 2.0's

Marco had first told me that i would be better off going with the 700's but after i made it very clear i didn't want an overly rough ride he said he thought the 700's were too harsh but recommended them only cuz some other FJ guys were running the 700's with plate bumpers and liked them.

When are you planning on upgrading the springs? maybe i should just wait till you get them on and wait for a review before i make a choice.

What does the AP bumper weigh with and w/o the winch?

^ this is kind of a funny place to find yourself asking this question...but what the hell.

If you go the subsection you want to go to i.e. 2nd gen, buy/sell/trade, etc, there will be a New Thread icon on the top left that looks like a paper and old school feather ink pen.
Click that and you can start your own thread.

i would suggest the Suspension sub-forum to post a thread about...well, suspension.
But above all, i would use the search function first to make sure no one else has already asked your question...chances are, somebody already has.

    Good luck

Hey man.. LOVE the FJ. I'll be honest.. when they first came out I hated them, but they have really grown on me. And I do agree with you, I see Tacomas all over the place.

Anything you miss or regret on switching from the Taco to the FJ?

Going good dude, yeah I saw it :p

I've been thinking about trading my truck in soon to get something else. I like FJ's a lot, I rode in one but never got the chance to drive one. Man, I'll be just like that when it comes to buying A house. I think all of my money would be put towards my vehicle than A house lol.

SOMETIMES, I miss having a bed. But I stopped riding my quad so...the fj handles the random home depot trips just fine :p
