    Hey Nick,
Ahh, cool, thanks. You didn't use them?

Reason I ask is, I was wondering if I will ever want to run one light bar (42" and a 32", both the same type) without the other. If the answer is yes, then I need to figure out where to put the second switch. I have a single blank now right below the cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel. I was just going buy a single switch for that spot and wire them both together and that way I can reserve the cubby to mount the brake controller.

The only time i ever used either were when slow ass drivers were in the left lane :anonymous:

I had the one on the bumper hooked up to the fog light switch and the one on the roof on another switch below the radio. The light on the roof just washed out the hood and honestly made it harder to see

Hmmm, I like the idea of dispersing idiots! I honestly don't feel there is much light intrusion. Although, I do have a limo tint strip and it is lower than allowed so it doesn't come in, but it does light up the hood. It doesn't bug me though. Some people complain that the glare from the hood scoop is bad. That never bothers me either. I'm weird like that though. I know they make a bolt on device for the roof light bar that keeps the light from shining down. Seems like it would defeat the purpose to me. I am making final adjustments to mine this weekend. They are both aimed too low still. I just put them on.

I'm all in on these now. I would have to do a lot of work to remove them and wouldn't net anything on my investment so......but, they do turn night into day! Combined with my LED low and high beams you can see ants on the ground at night. LOL

Love the rig! Saw you on Tacomaholic channel on YouTube and was inspired. You are why I got the same taillights actually. Rig looks much better since even that video, looks like you have added quite a bit. Been wanting to do a wrap for a long time, maybe someday.

Gotta ask, how do you like your ebay air intake?

@Cheakub im on the fence about it. Its was advertised for 05-15 but is really only for 05-11, so i had to relocate my secondary air pump because my truck is a 2012. If it wasnt for that i would say yeah. All the hardware is stainless and everything else fit right. For 75$ i would definitely put it on an 05-11- not for power but for the noise

I'm in an 06 so that shouldn't be a problem for me, good to know though. I found 3 different ones on ebay, do you remember which one you went with?

Thanks for the info on that though that's definitely helpful. Ebay is like a box of chocolates sometimes, you never know what you're gonna get.

Do you happen to have a pic of it installed by change? I'm seeing all the parts and I'm mechanically inclined just having a hard time putting it together mentally after looking under my hood.

So to bring this thread back....the truck is now arb air locked 4.88's front and rear with a maggie blower and smaller pulley. upgraded the coilovers to saw 2.5s, gusseted the heck out of the front end, installed a snorkel.I have headers, tuner, tiny pulley, etc for performance in the works, and also have a cage that will get installed one of these days. After that, whats next?

    The next, next big mod....
