Anyone know him personally, or live near his shop? A personal call or visit might help shed some light.

I've got the number for every phone he's got, and i've tried for months with no luck. Trying the shop is gonna be your best bet. Billy always answered when I called before this.

Your "good dude" buddy can't answer phones or email due to his father, but he has no problem cashing checks and taking credit cards.

    ... how is that possible?

The lady at my bank handling my credit card dispute said I should see the money returned by the end of the week. Hopefully Billy will get some kind of notification from them and maybe it'll serve as a "wake-up call" for him to at least touch base with you guys.

Got my credit on my card dispute today. Haven't heard anything from Billy yet. Placing an order with CBI. Best of luck to the rest of you guys. In the future, always pay stuff like this on a credit card. It's the only way to have any kind of protection. I'll update if I have any correspondance with Billy.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I really hate seeing stuff like this :( Billy seemed like a great guy I've worked with him quite a few times on his products. Never met him personally but talked over the phone. Something is defiantly odd here just going of his FaceBook he's alive still or people would be posting things on his time line. Maybe he got locked up :notsure: that's really the only thing I could think of being a one man show with no one to update his customers he does have a wife that could be updating you guys if there was an issue so I'm not sure what's the deal.

Both him and his wife have had no activity for months on facebook. I hope it all works out for you guys.

Edit: I contacted his wife's aunt and it has to do with hid dad passing right now why he's MIA. I told her to have Billy or his wife contact me hopefully and I can get you guys some form of contact with Billy.

Paid 4 June 2014, filed dispute a week ago, so roughly 5 1/2 months. The lady that handled my case didn't make it seem like that was out of the ordinary. Only way to find out is to try. Not a hard process at all.

I feel for Billy, he seems like he's having a really rough time with his dad getting sick. Id like to agree that this is no excuse, but, on the other hand, when you're going through something traumatic its hard to care about anything else. I know everyone loses loved ones, but not everyone handles hurt the same. Just a little piece from my last conversation with him, his dad is the only family he has left. Lets all just keep that in mind.

I, personally, think any of you waiting for fabrication work from him should hold tight. Billy has some of the best workmanship I've seen from any of the other venders on this forum. Everything fit like it was supposed to, and has proven to be bomb proof. I got my bumpers in september after a 5 month wait. I will add my name to the list with the few missing items, but I'm not gonna jump down Billys throat like a typical TW confrontation usually starts

Pretty much everything has been said here , and not that I approve of how he's letting everybody out in no-where land .... I really do admire his values ...
Love over money ... I don't think I'd have that , hard as I would try ... What a concept to actually live out .... That's an awesome man .... He's losing money everyday , but chooses his values over the consequences....
I wish this guy was closer as I would value a guy of this depth to be my friend .
Maybe there is something to learn here .... It's very uncomfortable to step out of the norm to do what is right.

Please don't misconstrue what I'm saying here .... I know it's not my money ...
I also know Billy is No theif
I also know how Great his products are
I just wanted to offer some thought

Alright I have an update for you all. I just spoke with Billy and he's currently without internet at his new shop which is why he's not on here himself. But I can now happily pass along his new phone number. He'd love to talk with all of you and make this right. No one is not getting their stuff. Thats not whats happening at all and I'll let him explain the situation as it is indeed very personal.

5599006564, he says if he is not welding and can hear his phone, it will be picked up. Please keep the thread updated and hopefully we can change the name soon!

    UPDATE!!

Thank you BenBacher with the updated phone number!!

I actually just got of the phone with Billy. He is currently in his shop welding up bumpers and working hard on everyones projects.

He asked me to pass along too everyone that he would love too speak with everyone about their issue. But he is a 1 man show, so if he doesn't answer it's because he is working. He is in a new shop and does't have internet.

He expressed his situation to me and I fully understand why he went off the radar for a moment. He understands his reputation on TW has been effected and it was not the smartest business move. Everyone makes mistakes and plays the "could have" / "Should have" card (I did).

At this point after speaking with Billy, I am taking my name off the list. I would urg EVERYONE to please call him. He wants to make everything right and start the rebuilding of his name after this situation. He knows he won't win everyone back, but he is trying his best at the moment.

I am glad to see that he is back on the radar - Billy is not the type of guy to just run away with a bunch of cash.

He will make it work out for those who wait for their bumpers - he hooked me up BIG TIME on a set of sliders due to the longer than normal wait time.

Billy called me today and we spoke for quite some time. I was happy to hear from him as I am sure all of you were as well. He told me that if the shoe was on the other foot, he would have done what we all did. He holds no ill will and just wants to get back to work and to reestablish his name in the fabrication industry.

Please take my name off this list as well. I would like to give Billy another shot at some amazing bumpers.
