Ben, I paid in full for everything about 14 months ago. I feel that's a long enough time to say that my money has been mishandled. That really sucks that someone wrote him a bad check. That happened to me once with my business, and the bank was pretty useless. I ended up tracking the person down myself and knocking on their damn door and got my money. It wasn't easy.

Maybe if Billy took 5 minutes and gave himself a voice, people wouldn't seem so frustrated. I tried to get ahold of him for months with no response when he disappeared, and he KNOWS that. He resurfaced, and the word came from you about that if I'm not mistaken. You don't think that it's bad business practice to ignore those customers? After he came around again and started fabricating, it was still up to us to get ahold of him? I think that's pretty messed up. I paid my deposit in advance per the standard, then paid the balance soon after. The last time I heard from him in April, he said he was supposed to ship my lights out the next day. Mind you, that's a year after I paid. What I said is that I'm done making the effort to get my stuff, it shouldn't be that hard.

I appreciate the offer for the covers. Unfortunately, I don't have any lights to put them on, but thank you anyway.

yea billy's such a good guy , i remember months back when he didn't have access to a phone, must still not have access to the internet (tough times I'm sure) and/or is too busy not sleeping to get on tacomaworld and talk to many of his buddies and/or clients. no doubt i'm sure he does good work, and there are some willing to get lied to wait for it, assuming he doesn't disappear again, but I can't even understand some of the rationale that some people here have. and their blinded faith in a guy that is INCREDIBLY sketchy. no, I have no investment in any of this, and most probably don't give a damn about my opinion, but honestly, he just sounds like a guy who is really good at giving a sob story (which may possibly be true), but for the most part, probably looks at his phone and says, oh well, i don't really care about a lot of these other people and what they think of me, so i'll just continue to ignore them

I think that a lot would be fixed if Billy got back on TW. Easier to reach people sometimes.

He's choosing not to. It's not like he doesn't know what is going on here.

Oh I know I was just saying that that would solve a lot of problems I think. I feel like he should because it would put a lot more people at ease if he was always active.

I ordered a rear hc number from billy. The day I left him a message about options and ordering it he got back to me asap. After choosing options and putting 1k as a down payment he told me 10 weeks out. After that I did not contact him at all knowing and hearing he's a busy dude I just let it be. 8 weeks later, which was two weeks ago, I was calling all 3 of his phones leaving voicmails and text messages for about a week. I got Nothing.. then finally I gave him another call around 11am and he picked up. He said my hc bumper should be ready within 2 weeks. The next day I went over to his shop to see how things were. He had told me he was at moab rock therapy so he didn't have signal. I don't have anything bad to say about Billy but it's not like I'm going to not believe what everyone else is going through. I wish you luck with your orders and or getting your hard earned money back. If Billy is offering a product I believe he should be fully responsible in delivering that product. In the end hopefully I get my bumper really soon!

Is Billy still having trouble delivering on time and answering the phone or does it seem like this has been resolved?

This is pretty much old news. I've seen some of his work in person, he is a hell of a fabricator.

Standard rear bumper. Nuthin special. Billy said he had all parts on hand and was going to be building two ahead of me and would do mine while he had the jig set up. Supposedly it should ship a week from Friday. I hope it does!
