Will these 2020 rims w offset 25mm work on my 04 Trd w currently 15mm of backspacing? Without sticking out too much, or recessed back too much? Everyone says yes, but I wanna know what TW thinks!
ready to make some kinda change!

Did this back in May. The truck is a work in progress so ignore the lack of a front bumper. Put the stock wheels and tires from my '22 on my '03 with no issues. Apart from getting the old wheels off the '03. The truck has been sitting for a few years. Changed the whole look of my poor old beat up Taco.

Just to plug the list of wheels that will fit again, here's a list of wheels known to fit (or not) with the Tundra Brake Upgrade. Nearing 100 different wheels at this point.

Which Wheels/Rims Fit the Tundra Brake Upgrade (13WL 231mm rotors) on a Tacoma? – AdventureTaco

And, for this thread, I just swapped over to some 1st gen Sequoia double 5-spoke. 17x7.5 with 4.85" backspacing. Clear the Tundra calipers perfectly fine (of course, given they are from a Sequoia and 17s) but they do sit a bit more inboard than the stock 4.5" backspacing. As such, I'm getting some rubbing on my coilover resi, which is mounted in the front of the wheel well. No rubbing on the frame though, so if you aren't running resis, these are a great option.

You'll likely be fine with those. If there is any rubbing at all, it will be very minimal and not worth worrying about.

Those are 3rd gen wheels not 4th. They fit as Turbodb says.

    42611-04230

They look similar to the 4th gen Limited trim wheel, but thats a different design and only comes in chrome.

Dang if only that list had weights too that would really help me choose my next set haha

BTW I think I have one you're missing but idk the source vehicle... It was either a 3rd gen taco or a 5th gen 4R

Does anyone know the correct offset on set of 18" ? I am going to go the "CUSTOM FORGED" route on my project truck.
