Yeah, most of the time I'm ok with the suck I bring to the game. It's the not improving that gets me, or maybe the inconcistency(?). Last year I shot a 1over par with my boss. (37) Then that night in league, same course, I shot a 52. Man, I almost get frustrated thinking about it.

But, most of the time I can enjoy it. I just don't get why 2 or 3 good strokes out of 50 or so makes one think they can get 30 or so in a row next time around. I believe I've mentioned the 6 concussions, the Polish blood, and that my mom smoked and drank during pregnancy. (OK in the 60's).

I just suck at the game, can't afford to golf more to get better, and am unwilling to accept it. Can you say, "I'm a dumb shit"?

Oh well...:rasta: makes it all better!:D It doesn't help my game, but I DO have more fun! Quitting drinking probably didn't help my game either, but it did help my marriage!:D

I have the RBZ TP Tour and played with 6 other guys this weekend and I thought my driver was the quietest out of 6 others. You want to hear a loud driver, hit the Cleveland Hi bore... thats loud!

As for $500 for the R11... Im pretty sure not many need the $500 version - R11s TP. You can find the reg R11 for like $300 new. Not a whole lot of difference between the R11 and the R11s. I ended up getting my RBZ for $300 but its normally $400. $300 does seem like alot for a club (took me about 3 yrs to finally spend it) but if you get one thats good for your swing it'll make a huge difference in your game.

Went and shot my best round today. Shot a great 84. Was 7 over on the front and 5 on the back with just 1 double. Started off a little shaky with my driver but was able to figure it out before the turn. Had a couple eagle attempts on the par 5s but couldn't ever get them to drop. All in all it was a great day.

I work at a golf course and play free. About 75 rounds a year. Scoring and general attitude about the game not what it once was. So...I try and buy a game, R11s driver, RBZ HL 3 wood, 4 & 5 hybrids, Burner 2.0 irons and Vokey wegdes. Hasn't worked...yet. But I'm determined.

I've not been impressed with Taylor Made irons... Love their drivers though.

I use a Never Compromise putter (part of Cleveland Golf)... and love it! Has a nice soft feel when it contacts ball. Got rid of my Carbite putter and bought that last year.

If you really like your putter and it does well for you, just get it reshafted.

I have a Taylor made putter I have been using since I was 16. I've tried different putters over the years, but found the old Taylor made is the king.

If its not too expensive i will take that route. I looked at getting my driver reshafted and it was almost as expensive as getting a new one. So i upgraded my driver.

I'm looking forward to trying it. My Pings I use are over 25 years old. If I had the money I would be tempted to upgrade my irons to new technology.

It makes a 1000x difference. I was play with some 15 year old clubs that I got when I was younger and when I switch to my mizunos it was night and day. Gained about 40 yards on every club and could put a lot more spin on the ball. It was amazing.

Well got to a chance to play golf in Alaska today! The course just opened up about a week ago and there was still some snow left over. Surprising the greens and fairways were in pretty good shape. But boy is it tough up here. I think the course rating was a 137. Needless to say I didn't shoot very good and lost a few balls. But it was fun and the view was amazing with the snow cover mountains in the back ground. There was a few moose roaming around the course also.

Back home now and back on the course. Played 27 holes today since the base is doing twilight starting at 2pm so it was game on. First nine was pretty rough. I can't believe just taking one week off makes that big of a difference. So i pushed through and shot decent on the other 18. Glad to be back playing!

So, Mon. night league I had a pulled neck muscle. I couldn't look left, I took a Vicodin (#10), a cyclobenzaprine (muscle relaxer), and a little:rasta:. I shot a 47 (par 36) with a birdie, a par, a quadruple bogie, and whatever else. My best league score this year:yay:. Hmmmmmm. I'm thinking that NOT thinking, or looking for my ball down the fairway, before I hit it, may have helped, who knows. That mixture takes away any focus at all. THAT, and a probable case of ADHD, made for quite the evening of golf.:D
