Got to tell someone because my wife couldn't care less. I got my official handicap figure yesterday and I finally hit 11.0. I've never had a lesson and only play maybe twice in 3 weeks. I'm an honest golfer that doesn't do mulligans, gimmies, or foot wedgies. I count all shots and penalties. When I started 3 years ago creating an official USGA handicap I was an 18.

Finally tried the Taylormade RBZ 5 iron. Amazed at how well it hit, even bad shots were good. Very different from my Ping eye 2's. It has a huge sweet spot & very well balanced. Even shots off the toe go far & straight. The club seems very light in weight, compared to older irons. I used it a bit on the driving range & then on the course. 171 yard par 3, landed on the green 15 feet to the left of the flag, pin high. I made the 15' putt in one stroke. :) If I had the money, I would definately consider replacing my clubs with these.

Great to hear. I haven't had a chance to try them but i have heard very good things. I also like the dark color of them.

Pretty stoked about this thread. I'm a 12 handicap but tend to get in my head every time I have a chance to break 80. Last round I missed a 4 footer on 18 and ended up with an 80.

Below is my bag, just completed it about a month ago. Getting married in a month so I decided to get some items that I would have to ask for later.

    Titleist 910D2 Driver 10.5, Stiff
    Titleist 909F3 3 wood, Stiff
    Taylormade 19 deg Hybrid, Stiff
Nike VR Forged Cavity back irons, Stiff
Titleist Vokey Wedges 52, 56 Deg
Scotty Cameron Studio Newport 2 Putter

Headed to Palm Desert this weekend with a few buddies. Depending on what the heat does to us, we plan to play 4 rounds in 3 days. La Quinta's Pet Dye Mountain Course Friday, La Quinta's Dune Course Sat Morning, PGA West TPC Stadium Course that afternoon, and the PGA West Nicklaus Tournament Course Sunday Morning.

What Golf Ball does everyone play?
Pro V1X are my favorite but pricey, NXT Tour S aren't bad but not a Pro V around the green. I tried the Taylormade Penta and like them but my wedges tend to mark them up.

All of these new clubs :( I play Ben Hogan Apex Irons and the original Nike Tiger Woods driver. The irons are old school blades but I could never play well with cavity back clubs

I still play my Tommy Armor 845i's that I have for the past few years. I love them. I am buying a new putter tomorrow (the one I have has been in use since I was 8). I'm getting an Odyssey Metal X-1.

It was butter on the pratice green.

Then I am buying a Callaway RAZR Fit 10.5* Stiff driver on Sunday. Finally looking forward to teeing off with a driver and not my 3 iron

Just got into golf. I've been a greens keeper for a good while now, thought I'd look at things from the other side. Im a lefty so clubs are a little more scarce. My buddy that works in the pro shop found an old set for 20 bucks. The irons are decent (made by pro image :notsure: ) I ordered a callaway diablo octane driver and a big Bertha diablo 4 hybrid from callawaygolfpreowned.com for $128. I've got a couple friends that play collegiate golf so hopefully I'll improve quickly.

Pretty excited, just overhauled my wedge collection. Was using a Cleveland 52 and a Vokey 58, traded both of those in and got CG10 52, 56, and 60 degrees, I'm gonna be fuckin dialed in around the greens.

Nice. I have been thinking about trading my 54* for a 56* or a 58*

The course is in the best shape I have ever seen. The greens are perfect and speedy. I use their website & click online specials & get deals. Today I paid $23 around 3pm. http://www.chimneysgc.com/

I'm playing tommorrow. Either Chimney's again or Chateau Elan. I have a hook up for free golf at Chateau Elan when it is hot out.

I play here on NAS Pax River's course - Cedar Point Golf Course. It's one of the top 5 military courses in the nation. Awesome course! If any of yall are up this way (in MD), hit me up and we can play a few rounds.

Played St Ives in John's Creek,GA today. Amazing course! Too bad my driver sucked ass. If I would have had decent drives I could have done well. Everything else was working. I had 4 pars on a course I have never played. Played for free, my golf buddy's neighbor had a gift certificate for 4 with carts. $450 face value on the certificate  :D

Hole #1 (The cooler on the tee, had wet towels in ice. Also available on #10)
