I just picked up a skytrak, having a bit of buyers remorse... haha. Has it helped your game?

I Like the sim idea but really just want to use it for distances + range sessions.

I think it has and used it for range practice over the past year with the "game improvement" package. Now that I've purchased The Golf Club (TGC) game, I enjoy it even more.

Are you hitting into a net or screen?

EDIT - some good info on here:

Got me some new sticks yesterday and I'm stoked! Mizuno MP-25s, Project X 6.0 shafts, and Lamkin grips. Also, got 1 hell of a deal on them so that just makes it sweeter!

Is that in your house? That's awesome. How much is the total setup like that run you to play

It's the 3rd bay in my garage.

    My system:

NetReturn Pro - $900 (Rain or Shine golf or shop indoor golf w/military discount)
    SkyTrak - $1k (Craigslist)
    SkyTrak Steel Case - $150
    Dell PC - $300 (Craigslist)
Video Card - $120 (BestBuy Sale)
Country Club Elite Mat - $350 (Costco)
CCE Ball Tray - $40 (Amazon)
    HD Monitor - $130 (Costco)
TGC Software - $795 (one time purchase, but worth every penny)

Total spent to practice and play thousands of courses, anytime I want at home = $3785

Awesome. Is it fairly accurate? I feel like that would be the number 1 thing the money would have to be spent on.

This is the only part that just rips my heart wide open! Maybe once we get a new bigger house I can slowly piece all this together. But dropping 4k all at once on this would get me divorced faster than my temper is at my putting skills!

    I think it is.

I play in an indoor golf league at my local CC, using some of the best equipment $$ can buy (Trackman) and still enjoy my home setup.

Getting the SkyTrak used, made all the difference.

I did it in stages, starting with the net and was going to look into a launch monitor in a year or so because of the financial hit. Two weeks later, I found the SkyTrak on CL and jumped on it.

I just purchased TGC a few weeks ago.

it's 65 and sunny after being rain for the last 2 months. Think I'm going to take advantage and go hit the driving range when I get off work here in an hour now that I've been talking golf today!

It's Master's week, bitches! Greatest week of the year. I have a feeling Rickie is finally going to break through the no major slump and finally get his. Top three are Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, and Tony Finau! Who yall got?
