Has anyone grilled chicken wings before? I’ve seen them baked and fried, but not grilled.

Yes I’ve grilled and smoked them. One thing you have to watch is temps so that they cook through without burning on the outside. I think a bunch of people on here like the Vortex for doing wings. I think @Cold Iron does them a lot. :)

Vortex and kettle for the win

Let them go 50-60 minutes I rotate the lid every 15 minutes only to give me something to do. Once they are close to being done take the wing bowl that you washed and dried and add your sauce. Heat and stir.

Doesn't take long once sauce is ready pull the wings and toss in the bowl. Put back on 8-10 minutes be careful to not burn them. You can put the apple wood back on.

Pull them before they start to burn and put back in the bowl. Toss again.

Celery and blu cheese and ready

And before you know it you'll have a boneyard.

After finding scratches on the Tacoma, I needed to be consoled with grilled meat for lunch.

After the last few days of rain, it was finally time to grill some Thai chicken.

    20200506_190203.jpg

Plated on cauliflower rice mixed with some diced roasted bell peppers and topped with a homemade chili sauce.

    20200506_192335.jpg

    So frickin' delicious.

Yah you betcha! Retired from the Navy more than 25 years ago now.

    Balut huh?

Not a fan of balut but ate my share for Chiefs initiation. Have had thoughts of going back to PI now that I am single.

Honeyco love you no shit buy you air conditioned Honda in morning.

Short on monkey meat on a stick here in Mn. Hell short of monkeys for that matter here. But came close to reproducing street venue with pork and was even able to find some calamansi juice and banana ketchup for the marinade and glaze.

Hey might be old but I still can cook. Can also do Lechón Pork. And still hotter than a 4 peckered billy goat in a forest fire. I really should take a trip back to PI. Not many places I have a desire to go back to around the world. But that is one of the few. Food and women. San Miguel beer not so much :p But some of the best food in the world IMO....

My kid needed to make something ethnic for his high school cooking class. I'd been sitting on an Indian recipe for a few weeks and figured it was time to try it.

Chicken marinated in yogurt, garlic and assorted other spices then skewered.

After some time on the grill:

    20200516_183256.jpg

Plated and enjoyed on the patio. Alone. Because my family are a bunch of losers.

Does a frozen pizza on the grill count? Scratch that, don't care cause it's damn tasty.

Ordered a full sirloin cap from the butcher (3 pounds, not huge), steaked it with the grain, lightly salted, skewered it like a C, grilled it with high heat. Stinking delicious.

Yeah my head looks a little like this guy:
