There is a similar type of thing with " co-op " gas stations , but to get the $ 0.04 / Litre savings you need to be a member , which you have to pay to become

 

Here our superstore (loblaws) gives 0.03 cents per litre toward groceries. So get 100l of gas and receive a $3 slip toward food.

 

I think The Canadian Superstore does a similar deal , I just don't have one local

 

I paid 3.38/gallon yesterday, and I'm fucking tired of the shit going up... Seen a station this morning with 3.95. That my friends is fucking pissing me off!

My Safeway grocery store has not quite as good a deal, it maxes out at $1.00 discount and I have to gas up at the Safeway station 12 miles north in Longmont, but I find myself up there enough to use it.

I should actually read up on how it works, Usually it's $1.00 but last time it was only $0.80. I may be losing points if i don't use it?

It is worth a look. My receipts warn me of what amount expires at the end of the month (if any does). A dollar is pretty damned good!
