just tossing in some local gas price details... left ottawa last week, filled up wednesday night at 131.x/litre, got to sudbury, which is 500km west along the trans canada hwy, pricing in sudbury was 147.x/litre. baffles me how this is happening.

Id gladly pay more in gas taxes if they would actually fix all the potholes and get road construction projects done in less than a decade around here.

Still a big push down here for the Keystone. Not sure why as we are soon to be outproducing our refining capabilities. I hope TransCan & Sinopec don't muck up your neighborhood.

I have serious doubts that Northern Gateway will ever be built . The feds have approved the proposal but Enbridge has to meet 250+ requirements from the NEC , plus 5 requirements from the BC provincial government plus there is a lawsuit by the First Nations that the route would have to cross that they were not adequately consulted which is required by our laws and most lawyers I have read believe the First Nations would win that case , not to mention several court cases against the feds for approving the plan without following there own guidlines as far as protected and endangered species along the proposed route

There may one day be a new pipeline to the west coast but I don't think this one will be it

and I believe Keystone will get approval

Sure looks like the Energy East Pipeline is going to go ahead well before any of the other proposed projects.
