    HomerTaco sorry to asked you another stupid question but If I understand you correctly I can buy just the bent black grill from you for $90 plus shipping correct? Does this just pop over my existing stock grill with ty-raps and no other modifications to my grill or anything else? Can it be done without taking my grille off of my truck? Thank you sir!

    Craig, does the grille you are making only come in black or would a have an aluminum finish as well. Like the one in your sig

    I'll be updating the OP shortly based on my marathon day of fabbing plastic & Aluminum in the garage today:

    I now have 5 grills 90% ready to accept the "Homeroshi" mesh.

    My supplier made a mistake & I got the incorrect thickness of the M1 mesh - I have to go exchange it on Monday:mad:

    I do NOT have a sample of the Homeroshi in this style mesh yet. The last piece I had I used to replace a satoshi mesh piece that was damaged during shipping.

    The NEW Grill pictured above is going to be called M4 - It has slightly smaller holes than the M1.

    The biggest thing I realized today is this:
    I will not be offering just the mesh alone.
    I'll update the OP to reflect this.

    The reason is simple: it is damn near impossible to cut the center of the grill out identically each time! (I did 4 today) Therefore if I just supply the mesh there is a really good chance that it will not be an exact fit for the end user.
    Not Cool.

    If anyone want to bail due to this fact, I would have NO problem with it.

    I'm also not really sure about the M3 (expanded Metal) in a homeroshi style... As you can see from the pic above - I started on it but it is SO hard to bend I don't think I'll be able to get it to look right.:(
    Also the piece pictured above "skipped" on me while it was in the brake and the bend is off by 1/8" which effed the whole piece up.:mad:

    I'm going back out after I update the OP to keep going at it & will update with more pics later on tonight!:D

    The most difficult part of this is shaping the metal to contour to the cut out remaining when the center of the grill is removed.

    The couple I have made already were close... but still did not fit as tight & snug as I wanted... certainly not good enough for a final product.:(

    This morning I came up with this:

    I made a template using leftover trim coil!

    the angles fit perfect when I set it into the cutouts & now I have the EXACT measurements of where to do the bends...

    This can conceivably now be transferred to ANY mesh I want to use. :yay:

    Now to start making a few....
