It’s bug season again.

 

Finally caught this Vermilion Flycatcher in the light. They prefer to hang out in the canopy where it's
shaded making for so-so images. Stayed long enough for 1 snap... otherwise I woulda got 10 images or
more for a best image - this one isn't bad.

Want a couple tips?

First - beautiful car. Secondly - it has a pole growing out of the top of the car. Watch your backgrounds.

Learn to post-process, too - that's half of what turns a mere snapshot into a photograph.

This little guy has been around our house many Times I’ve spotted him by his unique call anyways he flew into our master bedroom window knocked the wind out of Him. So I ran outside to get him up (we got cats that will turn him into lunch) anyhow I picked him up with gloves he never tried to attack or anything I guess he knew I was helping him out....I stayed with him for awhile then put him on a branch he set there for like 5 min and flew off and been nearby as always since ...

Good image. I'm interested in but too shy to take images of people I don't know. I understand that if
you are in public places it's all fair game, but here in the states just looking at someone might get you shot.

 

You realize that is highly unlikely? Besides we were in a highly populated area of.old.montreal...and.i took the pic with a cellphone....worrying about living prevents you from living.... As they said in the S.R. "Get busy living.. or get busy dying."

I think I’m going to buy the new Sony A6700 when it comes out. I watched a few review videos on it today and the autofocus for birds and animals is so much faster, more accurate and more consistent than my A6000.
