Believe me I am a Nikon fan, I’ve had most of their prosumer stuff since 2005 but they simply don’t have anything quite like the Sony A6400 in regards to size, quality or price.

I’m basically wanting something like my LX100 which can be operated one handed, provide great quality and still fit in a jacket pocket.

There are many viewpoints in my home town that I could replicate that shot, especially that awesome sky!

I’ll have to see if I still have some of my shots from my VW days, most of it was shot on film. I should have the negatives and some prints in a box somewhere.

I used to have an A6000 before upgrading and it was a good little camera. The kit 16-50 wasn’t bad. My Dad has the 6400 and it seems like an improvement on my old 6000.

I didn’t use the 16-50 a lot so I struggled to find a picture with it.

Thanks. Yeah the 16-50 isn't great but it also isn't too bad as a small walk around lens. I need to do some more research to see I there is something better which isn't too big.

Yeah I'm from the old school. I don't like doing much post. I like doing all my tactical work in the camera or on the film. My general workflow, is retouch dust out, set the levels, tweak exposure if needed, adjust saturation if needed or white balance, I keep it basic. I like aura that is created by flare, reflections and color temps.

I don't spend hours tweeking a photo. If a photo needs hours of work, then you probably didn't take a great photo to begin with. Just my .02.

If the photo isn't good, don't try to dress it up, find another image of frame.

For sure. I mainly use ACDSee Pro and Photoshop 7.0. LOL I like not having to buy subs or expensive ass licenses.

I hear you, was sucky when LR/PS became a subscription.
However for weddings LR is awesome and well worth the $100 a year. I typically don’t touch PS now, LR does everything I need. I’m grandfathered in at about 40% of the current subscription cost.

Thanks, love me some off camera flash. I tend to use flash to create shadows or isolate the subject vs the usual fill.
