Here's a few more that were part of our group. I especially loved the mk1.
The red G60 was the quickest one in the UK at the time. Not sure the American market got this version of the mk2? It came with blistered arches, 4wd and a blower from factory. Very limited run.

    Those pictures bring back memories.

My mk2 swapped with a Corrado VR6 and v1 supercharger.

That’s a lot of engine for that mk1.

I’ve got a set of single and GTi headlights and grilles in a shed back in the UK you can have :) I do really need to get them out of my dads shed!

I miss playing with engines… this was while we were dressing up my buds mk3 back in ‘07.
I literally just came across these while going through my hdd this morning and have just sent them to him back home.

Whilst flicking through loads of rally and trackside photos I took from various events back in ‘02-‘06 I was saddened to see that I did not experiment with slow shutter speeds. Admittedly this was before I took photography a bit more serious but still…

Yea we all have these regrets one way or another.

I remember taking my 'new' Nikon to Yellowstone in 2018 and not realizing the capability shot in 'Auto' the whole trip....

Thanks to Affinity and Topaz I've cleaned up some of the images but man what a missed opportunity.
And I only had a 55-200 zoom - wish I'd have had my 100-400 for this one... this beast was massive.

Was on the way to shoot a wedding in the RMNP on 12/28/11 and this bob cat casually walked across the road in front of me. I stopped grabbed a camera and stalked him for two minutes, he then got on top of this rock and we had this moment. Shot at 200mm, f2.8. This is not a crop, we were that close!

Oh man this thread is taking me down memory lane.

So we're living in Allenspark CO, 8500ft up in the Rocky Mountains in a cabin in the middle of nowhere and my dog goes out to go potty then comes back in through the doggy door like a crazy dog, his tail and butt swinging from side to side. I'm like WTH. Open the door and there's this big boy at the top of the garden, Dexter goes up to the fence and they have a friggen nose to nose moment. He comes running down the garden to me like come see my new friend... I run inside grab a camera and a flash and send him back up, he does and I manage to get this sub-par shot. The moment they had before was literally a kiss!

Moving from CO was possibly a mistake, loved that location!

FYI Dexter was the best dog in the world, have so many memories of that little guy

This thread is also making me realize I need to shoot more, however now have 1.5 yo kiddo so most photography is of her right now :)
