    Stick on hood scoop from Autozone.
    Get a tilt shift lens for architecture, they have far more practicality. :)

    I have that rokinon its actually pretty good.

    Also you can try this for the fireworks:

    set the camera on a tripod pointing to where the fireworks will be, set the camera to shutter priority set it to around 10-15 seconds (lower the ISO as most as you can), once they start, shoot... the end results is pretty cool since it will be filled with all the fireworks that were fired on those 10-15 secs and their motion.

    On a side note, I have trouble opening .NEF images in Photoshop Elements 9, it keeps on telling me that it cannot open the images, what am I doing wrong.

    Well, usually not being able to open RAW or NEF files is a plugin or update to the application--especially if you've got a newer camera. So Conner is correct.

    shot Janie yesterday down at Venice Beach... the eye candy strolling nearby was a bit distracting... i may need to put the cameras away and just cruise my bike all day... hehehe...

    tilt shifts are awesome for architecture photographers. if you have the money for them then theyre awesome. they cost a pretty penny though.
