    Are you using gimp in windowz? The only plugin i can find only works in the linux version.

    EDIT: Im a retard. It doesnt matter what version you are running. :smack:

    How much was the SB80? It's a good flash for "strobist" work if you get into it.

    yup, off camera flash work. Mostly done with the flash in manual mode so your body doesn't need to communicate with the flash. 130 isn't a bad price, but if this is will be your primary flash on camera, I would get a sb600 so you can take advantage of iTTL. I think you can find the Sb600 around 200 or so used.

    So high school fall sports are rolling in and Im the main photographer for my old high school this year for the local newspaper. :D

    Thats good news...I just wish I had a 70-200 f/4 to help out at those night games. Not sure how my 70-300 F/4-5.6 is going to do in low light :eek:

    That would be nice! I could pick up an old 10D for about $200 but I go from 10.1MP to 6.3MP. I know that MP isn't what it's all about but the 10D probably has more ISO performance.
