I've got a question, how do you guys deal with high humidity when you are shooting? I've left my camera in its case for awhile and take it out when I get ready to take photographs but it still fogs up.

Usually, you'd just take your gear out of the bag and let it acclimate. That said, you'll usually see fogging when you go between temperature extremes. So if you took the camera outside to 40*F from inside at 70*F, you might see some fogging. The trick is to let the camera come to that 40*F temp before using it.

Yah. Florida is a tough nut. Be sure to let it acclimate going inside too.

I looks alright. I had to do quite a bit of post processing because it turned out really light. It is only a 15 minute drive so i think ill go out there again and see if i can get some better shots.

By the way, what lens do you guys recommend for shots like that? I have these lenses:

    AF-S NIKKOR 55-200mm 1:4-5.6 G ED lens
    AF NIKKOR 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 G lens
    AF NIKKOR 18-35mm 1:3.5-4.5 D lens
    SIGMA 70-200mm 1:2.8 D lens w/SIGMA APO TELE CONVERTER 2X EX

I used the sigma for that pic.

One shot, probably the Sigma. The 18-35 is gonna leave you with too much foreground.

A nice pano shot might be 100+ mm and as many frames as it takes to get it all in. The bitch is if the sky has any moisture in it, it's gonna look like crap. You need a perfectly beautiful day for that. BTW the pano could be three rows by 6 or 8 horizontal shots as an example.

try not to directly center your subject. and make sure you have a steady tripod or use a self timer

Thanks for the tip, I was using a tripod and a remote shutter release, if they seem a little soft its because there was a ridiculous amount of haze last night

I forgot to mention that I got two photography internships here at USF. One is with the College of Arts and Sciences, taking pictures for their website, and being a collaborating photographer for our school's newspaper.
