didn't say it was the best. She does a lot of portraits as well. I know the money doesn't always reflect the quality or function of the lens. I figured I could get around 1200 worth of camera stuff out of the S/C.
She'll be using the 35mm (good also b/c of wide angle) the 50mm & 85mm for the portraits. The weddings is what she wants the 24-70mm (also the 50mm) and then eventually the 70-200mm.

but thanks about the site, she works on it alot to keep it nice.

im all vacationed out!

i was just in playa del carmen in mexico for a week now im in south padre texas. havnt been home in 11 days! im ready to be back already.

but on a photography note...i want to get into this, what is a good starter camera that takes good pics? i was looking at the cannon rebel's

Don't forget the 50/f1.2. OMG; it makes pretty pictures.

 

it gets worse when you make it a career...

sadly, i don't pick up the camera anymore unless im getting paid to do so...

 

the canons are great! but i am a nikon shooter so i have to say take a look at the D3100. but either way you will be happy, both make great pictures. see what feels best in your hands and go from there!

Hi, this is the wife . I found and added you on there Ian, you have alot of posts lol. Yeah i saw a comparison of the 50 f1.4 & the 1.2 and you cannot tell the difference!! I'll be getting the 1.f for a quarter of the price lol.

 

Go to the jetty and shoot some surf. Or Black's. UTC for some hockey. The zoo, the Wild Animal Park, Balboa Park.

 

ive shot the crap out of balboa for now.
i could shoot some surf....if we had any.
the zoo would be fun!



im thinking more landscape, im really in a landscape kick right now, i would love oregon or something other.
