    Yep this was my first time shooting a sports event.

    Yea it was quite nice, the lens was the first gen VR 70-200. I'm looking into upgrading bodies eventually, my camera wasn't cutting it with FPS

    The paper has the rights but I'm allowed to use the photos

    These are two nice photos. Like the bokeh. The second looks like it would benefit from a bit of a curves adjustment.

    Thanks man, she's a good one thats for sure :D Yeah I agree, that one was taken under the shade of a tree and the other one was under a tree but the sun was at that perfect moment in the evening that it produced great light on her face but not too harsh.

    In general, objects in motion need a place to go in a photo. In this shot, your truck has no place to go but out of the frame.

    Now, there are always exceptions. Like if the truck were turning into the camera or stationary maybe.
