I'd like to know a bit more about his processing techniques. You'll often see huge amounts of noise in just a 30-40 minute exposure with a 5D/1Ds MkIII.

Also, if you decide you want to try this, make sure you tape over any LED's like the shutter 'open' one. DAMHIK :(

Nah. I think he does a bunch of work in post. Not that the color isn't there but he has to do something to bring it out.

Got bored and decided to take a break form studying and take some pictures and relax in my hammock

this is the second time I have used lightroom, so I would love critiques, advice, etc.... (both for lightroom and taking pictures)

A friend of mine wanted some help shooting a rider and bike.

We used three lights. An AB400 and two speed lights.

The Alien Bee fires into a sheet providing a huge soft front light. One speed light is directly toward the back of the bike. The third light is in a beauty dish above the rider's head. The dish has a white cover to further soften the light.

The shoot happened about 5PM today. The weather was overcast with a light mist and a strong wind. All of the light stands were sand bagged to keep them from moving in the wind--it was necessary to hold the stands with the sheet as well--giant sail

Oh yeah. Shot with the G10 in manual mode.

Patrick, nice fall color in the leaf pics. The hammock just needs some feet to give you the hint of the hammock.
