    http://www.tamronlensreview.com/tamron70300vcreview

and i don't really know what the difference is between a 70-300 and a 55-250 but there is a big difference in the price though

I think you did OK. I would move her away from the back drop then light it to keep the shadows down.

Well I had both, at the same time too. I like the 55-250 canon, and if your on a tight budget, and if you can find it for a under 190, its a good deal, and would be a good lens to use until you can save up for the tamron 70-300VC and just sell the canon later for like 150ish.

The Tamron I thought was sharper, and more colorful, also the extra 50mm reach was nice. My wife thought so too, and made me sell her 55-250 and get her a tamron. But the Canon is a GREAT lens for the money and would recommend it over anything else if you dont get the Tamron or a "L" lens.

Here is a few shots you haven't seen yet from the Tamron.

id absolutely love that tamron but a little to much right now i think i may order that canon or sigma tomorrow...im just itching for a new lens and i want some diversity in what I can do with my pictures and can't really do that to a great extent with what i have now.

so i believe ill have to figure out a lens for now and deff save up for that tamron thats for sure. thanks of the help guys!

Thanks for the input Ian. Thats working with a two constant light system. In a small amount of area. I'll try pulling her out just a bit next time and see how it goes.
