The *Official Photography Thread*

That's what i was seeing. I'll probably use them both depending on what i am using the pictures for. Photobucket seems to be easier to get a picture uploaded and posted to the forums.

 

Here's a few from my outing today. Girlfriend took the first, she has an old AE-1 that she refuses to let go of, but she likes to tinker with the t3. And one of my ugly mug in the rear view.

Yeah, it was tough, I got one thats better focused on my face, but not real clear. But I liked this one a little better. I'm pretty ugly, so the less focus on me the better, haha.

 

So if a hosting site does anything, it's sharpening. Usually, what you think makes a picture look better is the color profile--most browsers work best when you use the sRGB. Almost any other profile won't look so well.

Maybe they'll convert the profile for the images they create for you (you upload a ginormous Original file and they create thumbnail, S, M and L files for you). That might be what you're seeing as "better"?

Did a little trail scouting for the upcoming meet this weekend, made it all the way to my fav. waterfall place.

 

I like the first Colin. Soft water. Clouds must have been really moving across the sky.

 

sorry but this is hilarious.

Very nice job with the Basketball shots though, those are tough with the low light.
