35% up front, 20% in the back window tint, 15" Mickey Thompson bullet hole wheels, with 31x10.5 Firestone Destination A/T tires. Glass Pack, High Flow Cat, S&B CAI, Custom Light Bar with 4 fog lights. 2 10" Rockford Fosgate P2 subs with 1000 watt Rockford Fosgate Amp, CB.
Yeah it would. How worried would one be do you think about the lens being exposed like that though?

It's no more exposed than today. Just separating function of light gathering from light display.

I have to admit, it's a cool idea but not one I think will be of much use unless you want to monitor a camera (a sports remote camera for example--which today you do the spray and pray thing with) from a distance. If that's the case, I'd think battery life will be a huge issue (tx/rx of the video image).

Oh ok. I mean I agree with you, I don't really see any real use for it honestly. I mean to get odd, difficult angles maybe yes. But I would imagine it would be hard to prop the lens up to get the angle you are trying to achieve.

I think it is a badass concept, and the interface is really nice. I could definitely see it coming out and being a bit more pricey than it should be probably.

Odd or difficult could mean camera on a pole kind of shots but otherwise, you can do that with a flip screen today. Same with the camera on a pole--just set the self timer or use a remote.

    No doubt it's very cool.

Yeah thats true. That's one thing I wasn't hesitant about when I had thought about looking at the 60D. I didn't think I would like it, but when I felt it and played with it I really liked it. But in the end I ended up going with the 50D, due to the tougher body. Even though I baby the camera.

But you are right, you could accomplish what you need with an articulating screen and a pole like you say.

No worries. Keep the shot you like and just composite in the wheels from the one with the glare. :)

Recently got my first DSLR and I've really been enjoying reading this thread... I have learned a bunch here. I'm posting a few pics from my daughters gymnastic meet. I welcome any critiques. It was really tough working the low light of the indoor arena with my slow lens. I know now I need a faster telephoto. I'm looking real hard at the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 that several here use and seem to have a good opinion of. Gotta save my pennies. Thanks... Dennis

I think it was fine though. A little wider might have helped. But I don't think it would have changed the outcome of these photos they look good

Nicely done Conner! I like how you got the little bits of each of the cars--different than most car shoots.

    Alex; nice art work!

Pete, have you thought about merging the two shots? Keep the light on the wheels and headlights--get rid of the strip of light on the body?
