Why so much hate Connor?

I tested out a Nikon today, and I didn't like it, but I wouldn't go as far as to say FUCK NIKON. :p

I'm just used to shooting with Canon. :D

Ah, well I've never used their camcorders. If I ever needed to shoot video, I'd probably get a Sony. :p

For me, it's just because I've been shooting Canon for the past 6 years. It's hard to adjust to Nikon. I have nothing against Nikon though. I'm not like a "OMG CANON IS TEH BEST NIKON IS TEH SUX0RZ" kind of person.

Canon is just what I'm used to and will continue to shoot. :)

im a long time Canon shooter (going on 10 years pro, 6 years hobbyist prior to that), but i shoot Panasonic for video now... i was shooting Sony before that and they make great cameras...

only issue with these new high end HD cameras, they shoot in AVCHD which doesn't direct import into Mac from what i hear... i use a Sony Vaio as my Macbook would not work with my cameras without going extra steps...

I had a D3 for a while (same time as I had a 1dmkIII). Nikon is almost exactly backward from Canon. It was weird. But that helped me with the Nikon. Heck, even the battery is the same shape but goes in backwards.

But between the two brands, I'm not convinced one is truly superior and what matters more is ergonomics.

that C3 is a beast of a camera, but i hear that it's substandard to the Red Epic and comparable to the Panasonic AG-AF100...

the AF100 is a fraction of the cost, and for the Nikon crowd, it can shoot with either Canon, Pentax, Zeiss, or Nikon lenses...

i liked how the Nikon functions were more clearly spelled out... Canon has multi function buttons and menus which keeps the appearance of the camera simple, but when you have to change settings on the fly, it can take some getting used to...

X2 on the brand choice... it really is comfort for the user...

there are successful photographers on both sides of the fence...
