yeah it was really bright outside. i dont think i would have been able to use a 30 sec exposure if it werent for the full moon

 

Yeah tonight is not the night for really long exposures with the moon being so bright! I'll be up at the Observatory again tonight!

 

nice i need to find a spot for tonight. im thinking im going to either go down by the potomac river or this lake near by

 

You know a long exposure shot of the Potomac at night with the moon being so bright might actually turn out really cool. I can see a very low shot with a really wide angle lens. lol aww man how I have missed photography!

 

yeah for real i wish i had a better wide angle lens but i only have my kit lens

 

Wow really nice, looks unreal (in a good way) kind of like the one you posted a while back (I think it was you) of a hotel or something at night when it was snowing outside, loved that.

 

How wide is your kit lens? Aren't they usually like 17/18 - 55 or something like that? Set that sucker up dude!

Digiscoping. I've only used my telescope for this a couple of times. Here's another shot of the completely full moon I took a few minutes ago.

 

Nice pictures! Trying with my telephoto. Not sure how well these are going to work but it is worth a shot

 

Any tips for super moon shooting?

 

it was so cloudy here i couldnt even see the moon

 

Use a tripod... If you have them use exposure delay feature and self-timer to avoid camera movement. Bracket your exposure. Go out and take some pictures because the moon is freakin' incredible tonight.
