Shoot Local is an app designed for cataloging and sharing locations. It's free. Not sure how well it works but I figured I'd download and try it. Hopefully, it's useful for you too.

Thanks and the tip about using the flash worked out great... I went with a friend of mine for a NorCal Camaro gathering/BBQ/movie night and tried it out since I finally had my camera with me at night time. It was generally a pain in the ass at first but I started to get the hang of where to point the flash.

Here's a few of my favorite pictures (there ended up being ~119 pictures total).

I was sitting across one of the guys as he was sipping his wine and saw a mini upside down Camaro in the glass.

Looks good man! Even more flash would be better. If I had one more piece of advice, it would be to aim for no shadows....that's what will make the photo really pop. When you pop the flash...imagine you're painting the car with a flashlight....100% coverage. I wish I had some of the old ones I did for my friend awhile back....I think they're buried on my external though. The one I posted on here is not something I would call a finished product.

I couldn't reach the quarter panels on the Camaro's because other cars were in the way of me getting to the side of them

I was happy to be able to take some photos by holding my camera up to my telescope (scope has a sun filter)!
This was about 7:00 pm PDT in Oceanside...

I have had this telescope for 44 years, so it is a bit dusty, but good enough for this rare view!
