wonder if they close them for the winter...or maybe some work on the railroad at the end? or on the trestles or tunnels...

The active railroad runs all year. Where they need to, they can run plows to clear track. The abandoned tunnel was closed because someone wrecked along the route (nearer the Donner Summit end and drove off the edge.).

Totally pissed off at myself. Late night ordering of what I thought to be a Think Tank Airport Security v2.0 went poorly.

It showed up today and in my excitement I went through organizing and putting all my gear in when suddenly I realized my gear wasn't fitting in it like the people I saw on the YouTube. I kinda just shrugged it off and went on due to my excitement of having a sweet ass bag.

After I finally got everything arranged I went through changing the combo's on the locks. When I was finally finished and was ready to give it a rest for the night my eye caught the sew on tag by the handle "Airport International 2.0". FML

The international is smaller than the Security and that's why my stuff wouldn't fit... Now I had to put this one back together and get it ready to send back and order the proper bag.

Also, by the end of the month im picking up one of these:
Bronica SQ-A, with 120 back, bronica 80mm f/2.8, and waist level viewfinder.

I played with my friends Hasselblad 500cm yesterday and totally fell in love. So im ready to make the shift to medium format.

youll really enjoy the bronica as i have one and can vouch for the quality it produces! since you played with a Hasselblad im sure you are aware of the fact while looking through the waist level viewfinder the subject is flipped! its easy to get used to that!

    Awesome Jake!

You'll really like what the medium format camera can do. I haven't shot much with mine lately. It's a Mamiya 645AF.

You should check out a Rolli or Seagull too.

LOL! I just got home from Tlaquepaque! OK. It's a Mexican restaurant, not in Sedona.

    Too funny!
