"The FUQ flashes are certainly like no other". David Hobby takes on Digital Rev's "Cheap camera challenge". Worth a watch-and I don't care for that Kai guy.

Remarkable results, especially considering the limitations the equipment placed on David. Very interesting,

Hey guys, I'm looking for some input here.

My university is doing a photo contest for all the students who just got back from studying abroad. I can only enter 1 photo per theme, but I only have photos to fit 2 or 3 of them.

    Themes are:
Cultural Interaction - students interacting with local people
DU students abroad - students in foreign locations (DU is my school)
    People - local people
Places - buildings, landmarks, and other scenery
Food, Flora and Fauna - self explanatory

I only have outdoor/aventure type photos, so the people and culture themes are out.

Aside from a couple being converted to black and white, these are just the raw images. I'll do the editing after I narrow down which photos are best.

    thanks guys.

I'll most likely submit one of the bird photos.

I just want to get feedback from as many people as possible before I submit.

I'm not sure I understand. Are the photos supposed to be from your travel abroad?

    I like #1 and #3.

Yah. Sorry, didn't explain that fully. I think its just a ploy they use to get students photos to show off on the school website, but who knows, there might be a prize.

But these photos are from my study abroad program. They're all from Tasmania, except for the 1st two which are from New Zealand.

Has anyone gotten hold of the new 27" iMac? I know the orders from the Apple website are running 3-4 weeks from time of purchase to delivery. What I'm really anxious to hear is if they have actually hit store stock anywhere? Any Apple insiders out there?
