In this composition, I think the vertical is more important than the horizon.

It looks great in B&W as well. One thing you can try if you're a Photoshop user is the High Pass sharpening method that's detailed here (works for color too).

Like others have suggested, a re-shoot would definitely help. If you can, a flash in the cab would be cool.

I've got a K1000, but its having an issue advancing the film, the hipster part of me want to get a Holga :anonymous:

    I REALLY want a Canon 7s with the f/0.95 50mm

nice. I have an older Hong Kong k1000 with a 50mm f2 really nice except the light meter isn't working.

I also just got a 35mm rangefinder and am going to start shooting with that. I went from wanting a nice 24 or 28mm lens for my k1000 to getting a whole new camera lol.

I guess I'm not into lomo so I'd never get a holga

I bought a 645 a few years ago. Put a couple of rolls through it and kinda fallen by the wayside.

Great camera. Lens cost makes a Canon 300f/2.8 look cheap tho

is this for AF lenses? aren't MF lenses very affordable? I wouldn't mind going MF, but how to process? take it in to costco(or other place) or diy?

I can drop it off for processing at a local camera store. They'll scan them for a fee.

Lenses. Yes, the AF lenses are considerably more than MF. Some say the AF are better. Some say don't worry-just get a different screen. IDK.

I dont mind manually focussing at all. I also wouldnt mind medium format for the DOF, and obviously the dynamic range and detail, but you just cant win either way, financially or by convenience(for film).

if I ever win the mega millions, first thing I will purchase is a digital MF format camera with an 80mp back

    haha nice ^^

i was looking into mf a while ago but i just couldnt justify the cost. i was planning on a mamiya 645 1000s but didnt pull the trigger. you can actually take 120mm film to walmart and as long as you indicate on the paper where you drop it off, they send it out to an actual lab that does a good job. i forgot what company but it may be fuji or idk.

either way i stuck to 35mm and am still an amateur but i like it. im planning on developing and scanning on my own by may

oh and one of my first shots with my k1000 during easter last year
