I've had the 40 for 6 years so its time to upgrade I think. Next is a decent wide-angle lens then to go for a decent tele-photo.

    Need to learn editing now.

I've had my eye on the 10-24 for a while now. That'll be my next lens for sure. I definitely use my 70-300 WAY more than I thought I would, and more than any other lens I have. Who'd'a thunk it. Followed by my 16-85, great range for a walk-around.

    Which 70-300mm do you have? I have a 55-300mm but it's a F1:4.5-5.6 want something faster. My recent favorite is a 35mm F1:1.8.

But I'm eyeing 12-24mm F/4 right now. It'll be good for some long exposure stuff I've been wanting to play with.

I've seen that announced and discussed in quite a few places. I'm curious what they'll have the technology to do in 25 years or so ha.

I've got that range covered and honestly don't mind the lenses I have. I understand they could be better, trust me. I shoot with my buddies 2.8 lenses when we go out together and the difference is obvious. But I don't mind being light weight and saving some coin. I'm just enjoying the process and the product :) I would like a weather sealed body soon, I've felt sketchy shooting outdoors in dusty or wet environments.

    AKA the flying bread stick

Some nice shots there, you may want to play with opening up the aperture or going with slower shutter speeds.

Thanks! Yeah, like I said I think I had it either setup for landscape pictures or in auto when I took that pic.

I think if you got more of the Tacoma front end and sunset and just had the water tower kind of peeking in on your corner it would have looked less crowded on the right side, don't get me wrong it's a great looking photo! Just advice from an outsider eye. ;)
