    when i was on my last trip i brought my laptop from the middle ages and it can only run LR3, and i was so surprised how much more stuff i can get done with LR3, i didn't realize it till i went back to my desktop that LR 5 deleted a lotta advanced options. which is a bummer because LR3 and LR5 combined is one kickass photo editing software.

    I was just reading about that. I was also reading how with LR4 it started bogging down when processing stuff unlike LR3.

    i think it's because of the processing time, because LR5 runs way faster, they figured out the problem in LR4 and instead of making it better they just deleted a buncha stuff. but i rather wait like 2 seconds more for more options to edit my photos.

    But i have to say if you know how to use PS, it trumps all other editing software that stuff is amazing man, but it takes tons of skills. skills a man like me don't have.

    Alsmot got PSE. But doesn't handle multiple RAWs well I guess? A review I read said LR was better for photos and PS was more graphically orientated and PSE was a dummed down version of both put together...but I haven't tried it so don't take my word for it.

    Ever use any of the Corel photoX programs and compared to PS? I had an older version of PS one time on windowz and it confused the shit out of me trying to use it.
