    I think, already erased them off my camera, but it was 800 ISO. 3.5 f/stop, and .3"-1" sec shutter.

    What camera are you using? It seems like there's a hot pixel of the the far right of the first picture?...or it might just be a red light ha, I can't tell.

    Nice pics, I love night pics that are in focus and good quality!

    Im using a Canon Rebel XS. I went back and looked at the picture and in another picture I took of the same picture (overexposed) it was a tower way off in the distance.

    WHOA 800 at night!?

    You gotta take that F stop way down. you have some intense color fringing, and some really soft lines.

    try shooting at f8 or f11 for night shots Color fringing will go way down, the whole photo will be way sharper.

    and for iso for night shots you need to shoot at 200.... or 400 at most (for better dynamic range) 800 is way too much for night shots. turn that down and you will have greater detail and less noise...(especially since your using an XS)


    EDIT: and the reason youre seeing "dead pixels" or red/green/blue dots randomly across the photo is because your ISO was at an extreme level (for your camera) it happens to me when i shoot at 6400+ nothing wrong with the camera...its your settings :thumbsup:

    Awesome man! Thanks for the info. So when I use a lower ISO and a higher f, I will need to bump up the shutter correct?

    Exactly! because there is less light coming in. dont be afraid to lengthen the exposure :thumbsup:

    Alright! Thanks for helping I'll definitely try that next time! I'll post up some I took tonight, and tell me if they are still the same as you described before. I assume they will be because they were taken at the same settings....hold on uploading now.

    On the water mark which font is better? I know zapfino is used a ton but its catchy I think. Which one do you like or do you have any suggestions for the watermark? And do these two pictures have what you described above?

    the first WM for sure....

    on the first shot try to crop it down and cut almost all the black off at the bottom. so its just the mountain line and not as much space.
