oh you were spot on about the cockiness... haha... papp photogs are a whole other breed, and because of the aggressive nature of what they do, they develop such thick skin that they tend to lose all sense of tact... they tend to come off as abrasive... their defensiveness becomes second nature...

i once shot christina aguilera at Hollywood Highland, and another photog that was next to me went so far as to grab the tip of my lens and shove it over to get ahead of me on the shot... i kept my cool although somehow, his second camera somehow got disconnected from its strap and fell to the ground... hahaha... so i managed to get my shots... =X

I don't know many sports shooters that go to the event after the fact. Or that have hours to plan their event shoots.

That's gotta be a tough way to make money. You depend on and pay off people to tell you when the celebs are around ten you gotta stake the place out and pray none of your competition payed the same people off so that you get the money shot.

yah, its rough, and then when you sell your shots, the mags take 30 to 90 days to get your money... and if you are agency signed, the agency takes 30 to 50 percent cut per shot...

i got out of it eventually, but a few of my buddies are still going strong... one of them has cleared 6 digits for 2 years in a row...

    RULES:
    1. All photo's need to be from a specified time period set in the call out. See below

    2. All photos need to have EXIF data info to verify date of shot.

These are the rules to the photo of the week correct?

Im curious though, still a newbie to this, I'd like to start submitting pictures so I can get practice with shooting specific things...but what all do I need to send with the picture to meet qualifications?

(posted here in case it isn't seen in the other thread)
