All I use is the program called ViewNX 2. It's a program that came with my camera. It's a very basic program.

I have Lightroom 4.4, but it has too many options and I end up screwing up the photos haha

Id strongly suggest NOT using PB for video. Their compression is HORRIBLE. Youtube or Viemo is much much better and easier to share.

I also solely use Lightroom. I could see a need for PS for people who like to whiten teeth and tuck away double chins and clean up acne, etc. or people who so some crazy editing and stitching and whatnot.

If be interested in getting it sometime BUT I already don't like how long it takes me to move a few sliders around. I would lose my mind if I spent hours on a single photo ha

I walked around Downtown Lincoln tonight, took photos of the Capitol Building, Governor's mansion, a church inside and out, parking garage, some coffee shops, etc etc etc. it was super chill to just walk around and shoot. Just be creative. All I brought was my Nikkor 10-24. I think about 4-5 of my 83 photos weren't at 10mm (15 for me) haha. Will post up a few when school dies down and I've edited some.

I have LR 4 and elements 11. I have an itch to use them.. curse my sensor going bad in my camera..

PSE is just a slightly more advanced LR..and it would come in handy big time. Like Color changes only in the Highlights..or mid tones..or darks..instead of just across the whole pic..as well as more stuff like that. After seeing it be used very close to how i edit photos..but you can be more focused without damaging the whole pic while trying to fix or bring out something and having to settle for a middle road.

I'll have to research it more someday. I'd like to look into exactly what you're gaining/losing with different versions as compared to price difference. I'd like a little more freedom like that as well as the ability to do little touch ups. The only time I yearn for PS is when I get home and find my perfect photo had a defect or two and I'd like a way to touch up those areas. Not in a hurry. I like LR5.

Yea LR5 is great. Plus is better for organizing your photos and mass exporting and more. That said..most people are now doing this for work flow...

Import in LR..sort through the pics..do quick edits..select certain ones that require finer touch ups..Import those into PS or PSE. Touch them up more..bring back into LR..finalize..export with others.

    But..everyone is different.

Yeah I go from LR to PS and back to LR cause for the life of me I can't figure out how to do a watermark in PS. lol

I haven't ever really taken the time to figure out how to do all the things PS can do. Usually when I need to do something I'll google how to do it and get it done. Then, I forget how to do it and have to start over at google again. lol

I'm still leaning LR. I check top two boxes in Lens Corrections when needed and move some sliders in Basics and I'm done. Don't know a whole lot else yet.
