    I just never have a tripod on me when I see a cool shot haha so I make due. I guess I have set the camera on things a few times when I couldn't get it handheld.

    When I go backpacking I always cringe when I look at my hdr stuff when I get home. Weight and space is limited, so I dont pack my tripod.

    I've had that idea in my head. I figured someone has to have made some already ha

    I have the Manfrotto Befree Travel Tripod and like it but I do think a trekking stick / monopod would be perfect for when I go camping and such.

    Can any of you older wider gentlemen lead me towards some good old school vintage 35mm film cameras. I think it would be cool to grab one for my birthday or something to fiddle on since I came into this far after digital was established. I've looked into the FED 2 or 3 and Zorki 4K or maybe a Pentax K1000. Any other recommendations?

    Nikon F3HP the only choice of professionals. You could also get it as the F3/T which is titanium in case you need it a little more rugged.

    That seems to be the consensus. Although I almost want something older and crappier haha weird but something tiny and fun just to fiddle on would be great. Preferable a little smaller body and lenses than the Nikon but I'll keep an eye out for a used one for a good price.


    Perhaps an FM of some sort or another one of those russian cameras.

    Was looking at the Nikon EM and E lenses because they're tiny and think I'm going to go with it's successor, the Nikon FG and the 50/1.8. Should be about $50 plus some film :) I don't even know what I'm going to do with the rolls when I'm done ha
