None yet, but its about to get rolling.
Chenbro his article about camera modes really helped me with understanding basic controls of my camera.

Before I got my new camera, I completely forgot I was looking at FX glass so I went with the 35 instead of the 50. I took some test shots and it's awesome.

So this got me thinking, do you think a thread on photography gear would be a good idea? Like for us to show off all of our gear. Camera, lenses, cases, tripods, etc.

That's true. I'm mainly curious just to see what everyone has.

Lol. I see what you mean. I have a D7100, 35mm 1.8, 18-104mm, hand me down tripod, hand me down case (which I plan on buying a new one soon), 32 gb card, vello shutterboss shutter release. Plus I have my old D70 which I retired since the sensor is going bad after 10+ years of use.

EDIT: The sensor is only noticeable on long exposure pictures. Regular pictures still work well.

I was just poking fun at it for only being like $20. There isn't one single thing I dislike about it. That's why my camera is always in it. Hell last week it rolled around the under my feet in my truck while I was out coyote hunting. Got a little muddy and I didn't give any shits.

It's not so bad as long as you watch the shutter speed and stay out of the shade. I almost got the 100-400 instead, but it isn't a true 400mm at the long end and for birding you need as much reach as you can get. I do feel like I would have more keepers if it had IS, so I spray and pray to compensate :D

Yeah, at the long end the 100-400 is about 374mm or something like that. I also wasn't a big fan of the push/pull zoom mechanism, and have heard stories that the air movement due to it can cause stuff to get sucked into the lens barrel.

Here's a shot I took last weekend of a red belly woodpecker in terrible light (overcast sky). 400mm f/5.6 1/2000s ISO 1600
