    I can't take credit for this but I just wanted to post this for the sheer simple amazing factor of it. Dirty thunderstorm, never heard of it before tonight but I guess when a volcano erupts, the static electricity can create a thunderstorm in the ash cloud. Is there a thread to post random awesome pics? I'll move it there if there is!

    Well you've got some really great guys in here that have a wealth of knowledge! Don't be afraid to drop out some stupid noob questions. I know I have asked some :rolleyes: but hey thats the only way to learn!

    Those are some cool pictures! With these guys help you'll be able to take something that awesome and turn it into something even greater.

    No tripod. I plan on getting one either this weekend or sometime next week. I was using my truck to take the pictures. I was setting it on the tonneau cover. I just got the camera on Monday so it's all still new to me.
